I love when a plan comes together.
Introducing -> Marin Fine Properties.
Tres chic, no? See what can be done with the right tools? I love the combination of things that are powerful on their own, and yet work so well together: the Altos market charts, the Google neighborhood map, the integration with her blog, and the ARE-TEC search widget and IDX.
All in one sleek package.
She's still got some work to do, fleshing out the neighborhood pages a bit, but I was too excited to wait. You can already see what an incredible site this will be. Clean, simple, engaging.
Oh - this also means if you're in the Bay Area, especially a member of BAREIS, we can get you up and running with our IDX search in a matter of minutes.
And if you have a second, go congratulate Ginger on creating an amazing site. We provide the tools, but you guys are the ones that put them to work.
Thanks Kelley,
I helped Ginger here and there on her site and one of the coolest parts is how easy it was to integrate ARE-TEC with WordPress. It was even possible to custom size the Advanced Property Search page to fit the width of the page. All I had to do was re-size the i-frame. Very, very cool!
I wasn't looking forward to integrating an IDX to WordPreess because I assumed it would be far, far more challenging. You guys make it so simple it's ridiculous.
I wish I didn't live in the boonies so I could have a great IDX solution!!
Kelley - Looks great. Ginger's talented to begin with, but now I'm jealous. I'm so behind on getting all of my site together. I'll have to go look through her site some more and use it for inspiration. I'll be contacted you and Chris soon about some questions, I just haven't had a moment to get around to them it seems.
It looks really great. It is the type of site that I aspire to have.
Susie - we're not scared of small MLSes. :) As long as they aren't charging huge set-up fees for us, we'll move into the area. If you're interested, let me know which you belong to and I'll do some research.
Matt - sites are ALWAYS a work in progress. Let me know if you need help or want to bounce some ideas.
This post reminds me to do something about our current IDX solution. I wonder how many customers we lose by not having an better search for our visitors. :)
